Anna Katalin Lovrity, the Budapest based illustrator and filmmaker is the designer behind the carpet brand called Rugs by annakatalin. Balancing between figurality and abstraction, these bold patterned rugs turn any interior impressing – whether they are hung as a wall tapestry or layed down on the floor. The flat-woven durable carpets are made of New Zealand wool, and the brilliant colors are given by plant-based dyes. Each piece is hand- made, so each rug has a unique character.
